Product Description

The Coffee Pot

Established in 1936, The Coffee Pot on Brambleton Avenue is “Roanoke’s Oldest Roadhouse.” At the time of its construction, it was the first commercial establishment a traveler would encounter approaching Roanoke from the south.

In Larry Bly’s words from his article “The ‘Pot’ Keeps Perking” (March 7, 2001): “Aside from its value as a registered National Historic Landmark, THE COFFEE POT is a true Roanoke treasure… The Pot has featured musical groups large and small, famous, as well as not-so-famous through the years. And, of course, it was home for local groups like “The Kings.” Little Tommy Holcomb and Fred Freelance could be found there frequently, as could half the ‘teen’ population of Roanoke at one time or another.”

Solid Brass; Brushed Finish.  First produced in 2001.
Dimensions: 7/16” height x 2 ½” width
